going to local market can make a good day

Had a very good day as 'si lai' (師奶) today!

Nice weather - warm and sunny. Good food, especially roast chicken for lunch! Got my first passbook in the UK. Bought fresh fish at a bargain price (wow, cheaper than in the city centre!). Plus other foodstuff! Really like those local markets like Bolton Market where you can find some fresh stuff at a good price. And it's similar to the markets (街市) in Hong Kong, which remind me of my childhood when I had to buy foodstuff and do cooking for my family...

Got good company. :)

There needs no grand lunch, no beautiful clothes, no big shopping to make a good day. Just simple things. I guess I've become and enjoy being a 'por por'!

Celebration of royal wedding with pizza!?

Another lazy day. Was thinking of going to gym but ended up staying at home to watch the live broadcast of the royal wedding - well, I wasn't very interested in it but just wanted to see what such a big national event was like.. the only moment that touched me was whenever Kate and William looked and smiled at each other... And, I saw a lot of photographers with canon camera & lens!! :P

Had buffet lunch with two friends at Pizza Hut. Can't help eating much more than my stomach can afford - ate 2.5 pieces of pizza, some pasta and salad - the creamy pasta and potato salad were the best! :)
