Back to my reading corner!

Some people thought I liked studying as I have been studying for a long time and they often saw me holding books (especially when I was preparing for public exams in HK!). Actually I don't like studying that much. If it weren't for exams, I probably wouldn't have a look at any of those academic books! I do like reading though - leisure reading. When I was at secondary school, I borrowed books from the public library - that was one of my ways to try to improve my English through those books then. I enjoyed reading those books, e.g. by Charles Dickens, Jane Eyre... But since I started my last job as researcher, I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to. Occasionally I read some Buddhist books. But fictions and other non-fictions? No! As I've got more free time now, I'd like to get back to my reading habit - going to Starbucks/Cafe Nero (no cappuccino though!) and enjoying reading for an afternoon! One of my colleagues lent me some books to read today.

*****
Had blueberry muffin for breakfast today - it was bought from Morrisons. Nice but I still think the one from Waitrose is more tasty!

I had nice lunch at Wasabi with the colleague who lent me books; I ordered my favourite - Tokyo roast pork ramen noodles!

For dinner, I had cheese beef burger, leftover fish & mixed vegetables. Oh the burger was really yummy. It was a very good combination with cheese!

The one on the left (below photo) is the burger I like!! The chicken pieces on the right are also my favourite...

Cooked Chinese soup tonight. The soup pack was bought by mum and brought by 'biu mui' a few months ago! I should try make soup more often...
